MeccaFest Fine Arts & Craft Festival, October 10-11, Carrollton Cultural Arts Center

Fun Dog Show, October 17, Carroll County Ag Center
The Fun Dog Show is an annual fundraiser for the Carroll County Humane Society. Dogs can compete in several categories, including Best Kisser, Best Tail Wagger, Most Unique Looking, and Best Rescue.

Hot Rods on Main Car Show, October 23, Downtown Douglasville, GA
Cool hot rods, live music, and vendors fill the streets of historical downtown Douglasville for a night of fun. The event is free for visitors, and proceeds from the car show benefit the downtown development fund.

Great Pumpkin Caper October 27, 2015, Buchanan, GA; Historic Square
Every year, area children carve pumpkins and display them on the lawn of the Old Haralson County Courthouse on the city’s historic square. Prizes are awarded in several categories. Downtown businesses and city offices also hand out candy, and there will be music and other activities for visitors to enjoy.

The Carrollton Fall Festival, October 31, Adamson Square in Carrollton
Bring your kids to trick or treat store to store at this Halloween morning festival. Businesses on Adamson Square are partnering with the Cultural Arts Department of the Carrollton Parks & Recreation to “haunt the square.” The square closes down for children’s safety, and the event will include games, inflatables, music, and a costume contest with prizes.
